Privacy Policy
The short version: VIP Alarm reads notifications on your phone so it can ring an alarm when one matches your rules. That reading happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, store remotely, share, sell, or transmit your notification content — or any other personal data. The app's only network use is Google Play purchases.

What the app does with notifications
To work, VIP Alarm uses Android's Notification access. With it, the app reads the title, text, and originating app of each notification your phone receives, and compares them against the rules you created. This comparison happens in the app's own process, on your device, and nowhere else.
- Notifications that don't match a rule are checked and immediately discarded. Nothing about them is kept.
- Notifications that match a rule create a local history entry: the time, the rule, the app, and a text snippet of up to 120 characters. At most 500 entries are kept; older ones are deleted automatically. You can clear this history at any time, and it is removed entirely when you uninstall the app.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not receive your notification content, your rules, your history, or any identifier.
Network use
The app requests the INTERNET permission for exactly one purpose: Google Play Billing, which processes Premium purchases. Payments are operated entirely by Google; we never see your payment details. Google's handling of purchase data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Notification content never touches the network.

Data sharing
We share no data with anyone, because we hold no data. There are no third-party SDKs that receive data from the app.
Data retention and deletion
Everything the app stores — your rules, settings, and the alert history — lives in the app's private storage on your device. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it deletes everything. There is nothing to delete on any server, because nothing is ever sent to one.
The "Send debug info" feature
Settings contains an optional Send debug info action. It composes an email containing only your device model, Android version and the app's permission states — never notification content. You see the full email in your mail app before deciding to send it.
Children
VIP Alarm is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships. Given the app's design — no accounts, no servers — meaningful changes are unlikely.
